Defense Verdict in Staten Island

Please join me in congratulating Dawn Pignatelli and Bob Elliott on their terrific defense verdict in Staten Island yesterday. In a hard fought 3-week trial Bob and Dawn successfully defended an Emergency Room Physician and 2 urgent care Physician Assistants who treated a 27-year-old male musician on 3 consecutive dates for an ear infection. The plaintiff suffered a total hearing loss in his left ear which he claimed was due to negligent treatment by our clients. After a 3-week trial in which the patients lawyer requested $3,000,000.00 as damages and a 3.5-hour jury deliberation the jury returned a unanimous verdict in favor of our clients. Amazingly, not only did the jury completely vindicate our clients they found the patient 100% responsible for the outcome! Congratulations Bob and Dawn!
