The dynamic duo of Matt Minero and Roland Vitanza recently achieved another terrific result on behalf of a Bartlett client

Specifically, Matt and Roland represented the owner and the general contractor in a construction accident lawsuit filed in New York County arising from plaintiff’s fall into an excavation pit whereby plaintiff allegedly sustained serious injuries resulting in a two-level spinal fusion surgery.  The plaintiff’s initial settlement demand was Five Million ($5,000,000.00) Dollars.  With the case moving toward trial, Matt and Roland we were able to avoid the potential for multi-million-dollar exposure by leveraging a strong defense on liability culminating in a successful appeal which vastly limited the plaintiff’s claims under the Labor Law and awarded our clients contractual indemnification against the plaintiff’s employer. As a result, the claim was resolved with zero contribution from our client. Congratulations Matt and Roland!
